My Fun New Project

Yesterday I went to the park with my friend Mrs.Ladman. She is teaching me to knit fingerless gloves for a project I am doing. She taught me how to pearl. (To pearl is to knit backwards). I am reading a book called "Calico Bush". In that book they knit a lot.

My aunt taught me how to knit while we were in New York. She gave me two balls of yarn and a pair of needles. I think knitting is really fun, and I can't wait to knit something new!

  4. Welcome to blogging. Your mom just gave me a great idea. My son is taking some typing lessons (he used Dance Mat also) and when he's a little more comfortable with it we are going to help him start a blog also.

I look forward to reading your post.

  9. HI! My name is Piper and I am 8 and I blog too and I am homeschooled. I wish I could learn to knit but my mom is just learning she said when she is better at it she will teach me and my sister. Now I take sewing lessons with my grandma and choir and soccer and co-op. Do you have brothers or sisters? Do you do any other activities? Do you have an American Girl doll?
